Found a figure that does not match its source? Send the page URL and the line.

What to send
Put the note in four lines. Page URL. Figure on the page. Figure on the spec sheet. Address of that sheet.
The page URL is the path, not only the title, so we open the same calculator or the same guide. The figure on the page is the number as printed. The figure on the spec sheet is the number you want checked. The address is the maker's page, so we open that row.
Add the date you opened the sheet, and name the field: aperture, focal length, focal ratio, weight, or focuser size.
An 8 in mirror is about 203 mm. Some makers list 200 mm. The page should copy the maker's figure.
If the sheet uses inches and the page uses millimetres, send both figures and name the unit on each. We copy the maker's number, and the page shows millimetres beside inches when it gives both. If your sheet is older than the date on our page, send that date too.
A clear note looks like this. Page says 900 mm. The maker sheet says 1200 mm. The field is focal length.
What happens next
We read the address you wrote. We aim to reply within 14 days.
A confirmed miss is corrected on the page. The updated date moves with the fix. The note keeps the old figure, the new figure, and the source.
Mail is used to answer you and to correct the page. We delete correction mail within 24 months of receipt.
A fee does not buy a row. We do not accept paid reviews. We do not accept a fee to feature a model, or to move one up a group.
A sample on the desk does not create a line in a table. The line still has to match a formula or a spec sheet.
